A) Local New York City resident William Loman took his life this past Saturday October 30, 1949. William Loman was 63 years old and was born July 20, 1886. William Loman was survived by his wife Linda Loman and his two sons Biff and Happy Loman. Loman was an accomplished salesman for 25 years of his life. He retired at the young age of 45 years old and his children supported him to the end of his life. Happy and Biff supported him with the income from their business “The Loman Brothers Sporting Goods.” William still could have lived off his retirement income, but Biff and Happy wanted to pay their father back for his years and years of hard work and loving attitude. William lived an accomplished life because of his personal appearance and likability. Without William Loman, the business world will suffer a catastrophic loss. Salesman from all across America knew and worshiped his name. William Loman will truly be missed in the business world. Who knows why he chose to took his life. He had planned to leave the next morning for Philadelphia. He leaves behind his wife, Linda, and two sons, Biff and Happy who followed in their father’s footsteps and are now also getting their names known in the world of sales. His parents and older brother, Ben, preceded him in death. Salesman from all over the country came to his funeral to celebrate the life of an amazing man. The friends he had made on his travels were there and spoke of his dedication to the business. His sons talked of the love he had for his family. Willy Loman will be sorely missed by all. He started out traveling Boston, until his boss, Howard Wagner, decided that he wasn’t living to his full potential. He sent him to a local spot in New York City where everyone who went there would become famous some day. He met his wife there and she was very blonde and had the bluest eyes. She was still beautiful even when she was older. He was always so lucky to have her because she never was disloyal to him and he was never to her either. He had built a nice cottage in Maine,New Hampriser, Boston, pretty much where ever he sold something. He was married to his beautiful wife Linda for 60 years. They had two sons Happy and Biff,who gave them 16 grandchildren all together. And they gave him 7 great-grand children. He was so greatful for all the these thing. Willy Loman graduated with a Bachelor of Business from Syracuse University in 1908. In 1913 he married Linda Jones of Staten Island. In 1915, Willy started with a business firm as a salesman. Willy spent 34 rewarding years with the firm. He bought a house in Brooklyn, New York, in 1924. He was one 25 year mortgage payment away from owning his house before he died. Frequently, he was on the road for sales and worked very hard to provide for his family. Mr. Loman was survived by his wife, Linda, and two sons, Happy and Biff, both now in New York City. He had no grandchildren when he died. Throughout Willy’s life, he met and befriended many people. As a traveling salesman, he left his house regularly to sell his firm’s products in the New England Area. His name was very well known and liked as far north of New York City as Bangor, Maine. When people saw his face, they were known to start laughing or smile, due to his friendly and funny nature. His boys, also successes, took after his charm and carried it through their lives. Willy repeatedly came home with large amounts of sales and good pay. He always thought that if you were personally attractive and well liked that you will be successful. This was proven true from his life and his oldest son’s, Biff. When his recent boss, Howard Wagner, was born, Willy was asked by his father and original boss if Howard was a good enough name. As Willy drew closer to the end of his career, Howard became more lenient on him and kept him at a good salary. Willy Loman’s funeral consisted of 1,278 people. Each family member he sold to brought their family in remembrance of him. Of that 1,278, two hundred plus were salesmen that admired his skill and personality. He will be missed dearly.

Willy gave good advice and helped his boys to become just as great of a salesman as he was. But nothing can replace the one man himself. Willy lays at rest knowing that he did his part in the world, taking care of his family and providing for all their needs. But he also lived a long fulfilled life taking care of his wife, Linda and his two kids, Happy and Biff. Who followed in their father’s footsteps to be salesmen. Hundreds of people, friends, family, co-workers, and clients, all showed up to pay their respects to a greatly respected person. Those who couldn’t attend the service heard the funeral over the radio. Biff and Happy plan to keep the salesman business in the family, and to run the company their father, Willy, built. Willy gave good advice and helped his boys to become just as great of a salesman as he was. But nothing can replace the one man himself. Willy lays at rest knowing that he did his part in the world, taking care of his family and providing for all their needs. Willy Loman, 92, died in 1978 in his sleep at home in Manhattan. He was born in New York City in 1887. He had an elder brother Ben, who created his own company in New York City and earned millions of money. Their father and mother had stable and good occupations, so Ben and Willy lived in a wealthy and happy life. Their parents helped to let them get best education. Willy grew up and decided to be a salesman. He worked very hard and was well-liked by all his colleagues and buyers, and he was fond by his boss. He traveled around New England to sale products, and wherever he went in New England, there must be someone who received him. His salaries rose up every three months, so he never needed to worry about money. He had a loving, loyal, beautiful and understanding wife, Linda, and two well-liked and intelligent sons, Biff and Happy. Biff not only was the captain of the football team when he was in high school, but also had great grades. He went to the University of Virginia after graduating from high school. He now had the largest sporting goods company in the world. Willy’s younger son, Happy, had very handsome appearance; he was a super movie star now. Willy had fantastic career; furthermore, he became the exemplar for other salesmen. A reporter from New York Times also wrote several pieces of news about him.
